  • Aristotle thought in terms of change not merely motion. I think motion was only a type of change.
  • Motion and change are closely related in Aristotelian physics. Motion, according to Aristotle, involved a change from potentiality to actuality.[15] He gave example of four types of change, namely change in substance, in quality, in quantity and in place.
