Physicists

What do an academic physicist do?

  1. Physicists have a very wrong understanding of what they do. I’m talking about academic physicists.

Motion is intellectual property of physicists

  1. The difficulty is that the subject of motion is an intellectual property of Learned Doctors who call themselves physicists.
  2. Physicists are professionals just like lawyers and they are very keen on protecting their intellectual property. They can really get vicious and ugly if you dare to question their dogma.
  3. You don’t want to argue motion with a physicist. You’ll get the same treatment as if you were arguing with the Pope about Christ. The only difference would be is that the Pope will advance more coherent and logical arguments.
  4. Physicists have a powerful tool to eliminate any questioning of their dogma, rhetorical sophistry. All Learned Doctors are masters of rhetorical sophistry because they have the authority to argue by authority.

Laws of physics vs. laws of nature

  1. Physicists are fond of using these two concepts interchangeably. For physiscist laws of physics that they define are laws of nature.
  2. But this is not true. Laws of physics allow exceptions. “Laws” defined by physicists to model natural phenomena can have exceptions.
  3. Laws of nature are true laws and they do not allow exceptions.
  4. Laws of nature are bound by probabilities. Even the lowest probability may happen given enough time.
  5. But this is not exception, exception is something that happens outside of probabilities.

How physicists deceive with equivocation

  1. An example is the word “mass”.
  2. In physics the word mass has been turned into an infinitely equivocal and casuistic term.
  3. Mass has so many meanings depending on the case that it is effectively meaningless.
  4. Physicists even talk about fields giving mass to particles. In this sentence only the word “to” has a meaning, “field”, giving“, ”mass“, ”particle“ have been defined so many times that they been equivocated into meaninglessness.
  5. Most physicists will refuse to define physics jargon to laymen. Physicists are scholastic doctors of philosophy. They are in the business of hoarding knowledge wholesale and selling it retail. So if they tell you what they mean with these words they will lose authority over you. This system is valid for all professionals.
  6. For professional physicists, we are ignorant idiots that we could never understand these deep concepts.
  7. But there are other physicists who make their business of explaining the physics obscurantisms to laymen.
  8. I suggest that you read Matt Strassler’s blog. For instance, Strassler has written millions of words explaining the word “particle” to us. Even you spend the time to read those million words you will not be wiser about the meaning of the word particle in physics.

Are we trying to convince physicists?

  1. The short answer is no, because we are not trying to convince physicists. Physicists have the authority but not the knowledge.
  2. Due to an ancient tradition of division of labor in human society, theoretical knowledge including natural sciences, mathematics, astronomy, cosmology and philosophy were given as a state sponsored and state protected monopoly to professional doctors who nowadays call themselves physicists in order to hide the fact that they are scholastic philosopher who do not read one line of philosophy during their long and ardous physics indoctrination.
  3. This is the reason medical doctors would call any unlicensed healer a quack and physicists will call any unlicensed “independent researcher” a crackpot. So, according to this reasoning the great experimentalist Henry Cavendish would be a crackpot because he was an independent researcher.
  4. I also noticed a curious trend in academic physics. Physicists evetually incorporate most ideas that they initially called crackpotism into physics under a cutely named theory.
